 R.J Galla Company Inc. was founded in 1970 by Richard Galla in Grayslake Illinois. Richard spent over 30 years in the industry working for a number of different firms. These companies tended to apply a “one size fits all” approach that failed to meet the needs of its clients. Richard knew that he could do better. He started R.J. Galla Company with the philosophy that each customer deserves careful attention resulting in a policy that provides the specific level of safety needed and is backed up with solid dedication. Richard’s creative, customer centered approach quickly gained wide acceptance. It did not take long before R. J. Galla Company was serving the needs of many businesses, individuals and institutions. R. J. Galla moved to its present location in 1973 and began increasing the size of its staff. The company also became incorporated that year. A cornerstone of R.J. Galla has been and remains to this day, its fully staffed, highly dedicated claims department. Customers can expect many services, among them are quick turnaround with claims, timely answers and proper reporting. The company continued its growth, becoming licensed in many states including, Wisconsin, Florida, New York, Indiana, Michigan and Georgia. And along the way, R.J. Galla Company has won many accolades and awards such as the HPA Award from CNA and the Circle Agent from Continental. But even with the expansion of the business, R. J. Galla has never lost sight of its core philosophy of standing behind its customers. R.J. Galla has helped clients who were victims of disasters such as the blizzard of 1979, Hurricane Andrew, Hurricane Floyd, the Midwest flooding of 1993 and the terrorist attack on 9/11. The team at R.J. Galla cares about its customers and takes great pride in being there for them. With great personal satisfaction, Richard’s sons, Dave and Ricky, joined the firm in the early 80s. And while R.J. Galla Company is a family business, its solid foundation is in its dedicated staff. Today, the company boasts some of the best specialists in the industry, performing tasks such as plan design, claim processing and industry research. R. J.
